A panic attack is a sudden surge of intense fear or discomfort that maxes out within minutes. You can feel either calm or anxious before it starts.

10) When I have a panic attack, I feel numbness and tingling sensations.
11) When I have a panic attack, I feel like I'm detached from my body, or like things that are happening around me aren't real.
12) When I have a panic attack, I feel like I'm losing control or about to go crazy.
13) When I have a panic attack, I'm afraid I'm going to die.
14) After a panic attack, I've worried for at least a month that I'll have another one.
15) After having a panic attack, I've avoided things that I believed could cause another one. My avoidance lasted at least a month.
16) When I have a panic attack, I feel nausea or my stomach hurts.
17) I can honestly say that my panic attacks are not the result of a drug or medicine.
18) I can honestly say that my panic attack is not due to another mental health or physical problem.
